Dickinson Signs A 3-Year With Vancouver

The Canucks made a great decision today by signing Jason Dickinson to a 3-year contract. It runs until 2024, has a $2,650,000 AAV. Not to mention the kid gets a $500,000 signing bonus this season on the new deal.

The Canucks just acquired Dickinson from Dallas for a 2021 3rd round pick and that is a steal for them. Dickinson was amazing in Dallas. He’s an energetic forward, versatile but could use some help with consistency. Last season he played in 51 games and put up 15 points (7G 8A) with an average of 16:12 on the ice pre game. Like I said, I liked him a lot in Dallas. He was a great teammate and has a big physical presence, I think Vancouver could use some of that. Just make sure to keep some bandaids near, the kid gets hit in the face a lot.
