It’s game day and I’m gonna need Michigan to work their Game 1 magic against Wisconsin tonight. In their season opener last week, Michigan kicked the Arizona State Sun Devil’s asses with a 8-1 victory and the next night they won again but 3-0 this time. I’m gonna need that same energy tonight.
As a Chicagoan and University of Iowa fan, it’s in my blood to root against Wisconsin. Both of these teams are 2-0 to start their seasons. Michigan has 11 goals for and 1 against, while Wisconsin has 7 goals for and 3 against. Both teams brought strong offensive power to their season openers and I’ll bet good money that’s gonna happen again tonight.
If Michigan starts up early and is relentless on their goalie, this will be a high scoring match for them. In their second game against Arizona, they had a lot of shots but couldn’t get too many past the goalie. Should they keep that relentlessness tonight, I think it’ll be a different story. Both teams have a lot of talent and I think it’s gonna be the game to watch tonight. Puck drop is at 6 PM CT, stay tuned for me either absolutely ecstatic or losing my shit.
