Minnesota Whitecaps End Boston Pride’s Perfect Win Streak

The Minnesota Whitecaps have done it! They’ve ended the Boston Pride’s perfect 19-0-0 streak with a 4-3 victory in a sold-out Trina Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. I told you to watch these games and you guys better have!

The game kicked up in the second half of the 3rd period. With 10 minutes remaining, the game was tied at 2-2. Whitecaps’ game-winner came from Allie Thunstrom with 51 seconds remaining in the game.

Now with this win, the Whitecaps have locked in their spot at the Number 2 seed in the Isobel Cup Finals, according to Matt Falkenbury on Twitter. The team is the reigning Isobel Cup Champs and they’ll be fighting tooth and nail to get their second Cup.
