From a 23-1 season and the Isobel Cup Finals to a 1-3-0 start, the Pride aren’t where they thought they’d be come the start of this season.
Today, the Pride were in control of the game until the third period. The Pride were up 1-0 going into the 3rd but things swiftly fell apart. The Connecticut Whale scored 4 unanswered goals in 9 minutes. Emma Vlasic kicked it into gear with 3 assists and 1 goal in that time.
The Pride didn’t change a lot about their roster this off-season so it’s weird to see them take such a hard dip to start their season. They’ll have a 3 day break until they play the Riveters next. They’ll want ho have their shit together for that one. The Rivs are 2-1 right now and they’ve brought their A game in every contest. We need some more of that Big Bad Boston team from last year if they wanna dream about another Cup.
