Canucks Light Up the 2nd Period With Some Sick Goals

When the Canucks are on, they’re a fun team to watch and JT Miller is making damn sure they’re fun tonight.

First, Miller broke the 1-1 tie with that beauty of a goal (above) 1:16 into the period. Elias Pettersson was flying down the ice when he dropped the pass back to Quinn Hughes. Then Hughesy sent it over to Miller and he sniped it in.

Then, about 6 minutes after that goal, Miller picked up his second goal of the night (and the season) on this rebound.

Getting the score up 4-1 was the one and only Elias Pettersson. He’s had a rough start to the season but give Petey some time and space and he’ll start scoring. Hopefully this goal gives him some of that confidence back and he’ll be off to the races after this.

The Canucks have been on a roller coaster this season. They’ll have a great game and then they’ll play like dogshit the next two. They need to find this energy and this creativity on game day. There is still half a period left in this game, I’d love to see Miller get a hatty tonight so keep your eyes peeled.
