The city of Denver is celebrating right. Colorado Avalanche fans took to the streets while celebrating their Cup win the other night and they got creative when they couldn’t hoist the Stanley Cup themselves. Some fans decided to get some practice reps in with beautiful orange traffic cones. They may be a little lighter than the actual Cup, sure is dented like the real one, but I think this team of fans is in perfect form. The lift, the hand-off, the commodore – 15/10. One of the best things about a Championship is how it brings people together. Look at this collection of strangers, just out with one common goal: celebrating their hockey team being the best in the NHL. Sports. Brings people together.
