How on God’s green Earth did he maintain control of the puck through that? Yes, yes I know “It’s Sid. He always does shit like this”. Regardless it’s so impressive. He keeps that puck, goes down to his ass on the ice, sends it perfectly to a waiting Marcus Pettersson, who directs that right to Jake Guentzel, and Guentzel sends it right back to its home in the back of the net. Unbelievable.
Not to mention, Sid the Kid popped in to score a goal of his own just 9 minutes later:
