If The NHL Had An “Assist of the Year” Award Trevor Zegras Would Win It

I just got home so I am late to the party but MY GOOD GOD TREVOR.

The NHL needs to start giving out awards for “Assist of the Year” because this right here is the one. I’ve gone on and on about how Trevor Zegras is going to complete a Michigan goal at some point in his career (he’s attempted it once or twice and one day it’s bound to happen). Now, he’s used the same idea but this time to assist an insane goal with his buddy Sonny Milano. Watch it again:

It’s just preposterous. Zegras has proved himself as an insane player time and time again. This is far from the last insane goal we’ll see him score this season. I look forward to seeing many, many more.
