Joe Pavelski is adding to his legacy. Tonight, in Dallas’s decimation of Colorado, Pavelski scored not one but two goals to get his 400th career goal.
Pavelski was on fire to start this game. He scored his first goal 1:12 into the period to give Dallas an early lead. THEN, 19 seconds after that, he scored his second goal which subsequently was his 400th career goal. He’s the 10th American player to actually do it and he’s sure as shit not slowing down.
This is already Pavelski’s 3rd season in Dallas and he’s been one of their best players. Reliable as hell, scores on the power play often – I’ve loved him here since day 1. He’ll continue to be a massive part of Dallas’ success as well as add to his well-earned title as “Captain America”. The Olympics are coming up and I think it’ll be insane if he’s not on that roster. For now, what an amazing win for the team and Pavelski’s career. Not to mention this wholesome moment with his son:
