The Ottawa Senators have chosen their captain and it comes as a shock to no one that it’s Brady Tkachuk.
Tkachuk is freshly 22-years-old, he was drafted 4th overall by the Sens back in 2018. Since then he’s played in 205 games with 129 points (62G 67A). Brady, true to the Tkachuk name, is a disruptive player who will be in your ear – I think he might be the tamest Tkachuk play-wise though. He’s one of those players you can count on to score when you need him most. He seems like a great, down to Earth, funny guy so I’m sure he’ll do great leading this Senators team. He’s the obvious choice too, he’s a massive part of that team.
Brady has a real bright future ahead of him in the NHL. He’s one of my favorite players to watch, always energetic and creative. It was a no-brainer Brady was going to be captain at some point. The Senators are 3-6-1 this season, he’s got 4 points (2G 2A) in 7 games. He’s 3 games behind everyone else because he was holding out for. good contract. First, a sick new contract, then awarded Captaincy? It’s looking like a great year for Brady Tkachuk.
