Hannah Bilka Put On A Show With BC Last Night

Hannah Bilka, a Junior forward from BC, had herself a day yesterday in Boston College’s 5-2 victory over Maine. It started with the Eagles’ first goal of the game just 5 minutes in where Bilka danced and toe dragged her way through Maine’s defense to send a wicked pass to Abby Newhook, who cashed that in. Watch how sick it is right here:

Bilka was the awarded scorer on the Eagles’s second goal of the game that came about 3 minutes later. She shot a puck from the circle and it deflected into the net off a Maine player’s skate. The Eagles put up 2 more goals in the first, got scored on once in the second. Into the third period, Maine had a goal to get this game 2-4 but Bilka shut down their hope with her second goal of the game.

This Eagles team has been sick. They are 6-0-0 on their season and they have a sneaky stacked roster. They’re not busting at the seams with talent like Wisconsin but they have a good group that work well together. I mean they got players like Newhook, Bilka, goaltender Abbey Levy – who had 35 saves last night, they’re an awesome team just starting a promising season. It’s going to be fun to watch.
