A Eulogy For My (Second Favorite) Hat

As I previously mentioned, I’m in New York this week. It was day 2 here and I already lost my dearly beloved hat.

It was a pure beauty and it served me well over the three months I had owned it. The totally fake, washed out denim. The cheap plastic lettering.

It’s also rare that I wear a hat facing forward so I don’t even have a good picture in it. I do happen to have a photo of our last hours together.

RIP “women want me, fish fear me” number 1. I hope whoever finds you in the bathroom of a random gay bar in New York City cherishes you as much as I did. Now for the remainder of the trip I will be going hatless so I need not to feel this despair once again. RIP sweet prince.
