We Got A Tied Series In New England

With all the clips coming from these livestreams, I hope this Bruins/Islanders series goes for 7 games.

Tonight the Islanders took Game 4 against the Bruins with a 4-1 final score. That leaves this intense series tied up 2-2. The game started with a bang, 2 fights in the first 10 minutes. First Taylor Hall fought Scott Mayfield and then Jarred Tinordi fought Matt Martin. There were no goals in the first period but those fights really got the energy going.

David Krejci opened the scoring with a power play goal 3:57 into the second. Kyle Palmieri answered with an Isles goal at 6:38.

The third period is where the Bruins completely lost momentum. The Islanders would score 3 goals to steal this game. Mathew Barzal scored the go ahead goal at 13:03. Then, Casey Cizikas added to it for a 3-1 lead 5 minutes later. And Jean-Gabriel Pageau put the nail in the coffin with their 4th goal at 19:57.

The Bruins have until Monday night to figure their shit out for Game 5. They can’t let the Islanders get in their heads this easily if they want to advance in the series. They really can’t afford to be missing those wide open shots like Pasta. Let the Isles get hot and this series will be over quickly. So far, this series has been really exciting to watch. Both teams are extremely skilled and the wins can go either way. The next game will be back in Boston and it is, without a doubt, going to be a good one.
