Timmy Stützle (aka Jimmy) had quite a night against the Winnipeg Jets. 19-year-old rookie Stützle put up his first multi-goal game in the NHL along with scoring his first hat trick. Check em out here:
His goals came 11:29 into the 1st period, 5:11 into the 3rd period, and 19:54 in the 3rd on the power play. These were Jimmy’s 10th, 11th, and 12th goals of the season. He has, in total put up 29 points (12G 17A) in his first 51 NHL games. The kids up in Ottawa have done alright this season. I think they beat out most of the shallow expectations that were set for them by everyone around the league. Jimmy has set himself up with a nice rookie season. I’m excited to see more of this kid going forward, he’s an absolute treat alongside Brady Tkachuk, Drake Batherson, and Josh Norris.
