If you know me you know I looove first NHL goals. The celly is so pure and the goals are sick but there is nothing sweeter than a first goal that comes as an OT GWG. That happened tonight for 20-year-old Cole Caufield who was playing in just his 4th NHL game. He stepped up huge in OT and scooped the GWG on a sick little shot. It was a great snipe on net to gave the Habs the W.
Caufield started his pro career the night he won the Hoby Baker on April 9th, he has since moved up to the Habs and been huge for them. I think this kid will be massive in the years to come and we’re lucky to see his career begin.
