Taylor Hall Is Going To Light Up Boston, Isn’t He?

In just 2 games with Boston, Taylor Hall has already doubled his goal total. Hall was traded Monday to the Bruins after 37 games with the Buffalo Sabres. Hall put up 19 points in that time, just 2 goals and 17 assists. In just 2 games with the Bruins, Hall has scored 2 goals. To break this down numbers wise, Hall put up 2 goals in the 691:04 minutes he played in Buffalo. Now in Boston he’s played just under 2 periods, 35:19, and he’s put up 2 goals in that time (shoutout Ty Anderson).

There were a lot of questions before the trade asking if he just wasn’t what we thought he was or if it was just Buffalo. Well I think it’s fair to say that it was just Buffalo.

Just yesterday, Hall played Game 1 with Boston where he had his first goal in the 13:21 he played with his new team. Tonight, Hall put up his second goal in the 15:15 he was on the ice.

I’d say this team got a fair deal on him. Buffalo had to give up Hall and Curtis Lazar, who got his first goal with the team in tonight’s game, for just Anders Bjork and a 2nd round pick. The Bruins hit a bit of a rough patch right before the trade deadline but I think it’s safe to say that they’re going to be quite alright. If they keep playing this hard, I expect them to make a good run into the playoffs.
