After missing 11 games while on concussion protocol, Dylan Strome has returned to the Blackhawks with a bang.
The Hawks have been missing Dylan out there in his absence and he’s already making a difference in his first period back. He played 5:44 already with 3 shots on net. His 5th goal of the season came 18:45 into the first on the power play. It was a gritty goal, he didn’t give up on the puck and that resulted in a tied game headed into the second.
These are the goals that the Hawks need to score. When shit goes wrong, get in front of that net and send everything you can there. Dylan stuck with it and good things happened. They’re gonna need to keep doing that if they want to beat the Lightning tonight. We still have 2 period left but I’m happy with what we’ve seen from Strome and the Hawks already. Let’s have a night and hopefully queue Chelsea.
