St. Louis Is The Dream Gap Tour’s Next Stop

The Dream Gap Tour is getting another event! This time the St. Louis Blues -new partner’s of the PWHPA- will be hosting the next stop on the PWHPA’s Dream Gap Tour on April 11th and 12th. Both games will be between Team Adidas (Minnesota) and Team Women’s Sports Foundation (New Hampshire) and it will be the last US game before the PWHPA athletes go international.

Game one will be on Sunday, April 11th at 5PM CT at the Centene Community Ice Center. Then the next day, April 12th, at 6PM CT the two teams will face off at the Enterprise Center, home of the St. Louis Blues. I’m thrilled for another set of games with these two teams. Each game has been energetic and high scoring so it’s bound to be awesome once more.

The PWHPA is also hosting a on-ice girls’ hockey clinic with a Youth Hockey Q&A and a Women in Leadership Roundtable the day before these game start, on April 10th. The PWHPA’s focus has always been about growing the game and they’re going to do just that. You can read the full report with quotes from people involved here.

I’ve been clear the St. Louis isn’t exactly my favorite place (I’m a very proud Chicagoan) but they will be allowing fans to this event so perhaps I will take a little trip down on the 11th or 12th. I’d for sure be in enemy territory but these events have always been great and I’d love to see a game in a big stadium. The press release did not say if this game will be streamed anywhere so we’ll have to keep an eye out for that.
