We are 2/3 through the first game of the NWHL Bubble and Leila Kilduff is the one with all the goals. Kilduff, with 2 goals now, opened the scoring exactly 1 minute into the game (above). Then she closed up the first period with a sneaky little laser that got right past the Six’s goaltender (below).
Kelly Babstock, Jayne Lewis, and Kate Leary all have an assist so far. The Rivs are looking as good as I expected them to. These teams are feeling it, they’re hungry to win. We’ll be headed into the third period soon and I guarantee there’s gonna be some animosity between these two. Watch the game here.
