WE’RE NOT GOING 0-56! It took 4 losses for the Blackhawks to finally do it but the Hawks have won a hockey game for the first time this season. The Hawks just beat the Detroit Red Wings in a 4-1 victory. Am I getting my hopes up for even more ‘W”s? Probably, but oh boy did it feel phenomenal to hear Chelsea Dagger blare through the United Center once more.

We saw goals from multiple Hawks (Kane, de Haan, Shaw, and Janmark), goalie Kevin Lankinen stopped 30 of 31 shots on net, the powermplay and PK were good. Overall, great game for Chicago. Just what we need to get the energy goin. On Sunday we’ll have to do it again against Detroit. 11:30 AM CT, be there or be square and wear red. Think of it as a pre-game for the NWHL games that night. It’s perfect.
