Bo Horvat and Brock Boeser Were Magic Tonight

The Canucks ended their three game losing streak and it would not have happened without their captain.

Bo Horvat had 2 goals and an assist on the night and he was the one to sink the shootout goal that gave the Canucks the W. We all remember how electric Horvat was during the Bubble Playoffs and he seems to be trending back that way to start this season.

Brock Boeser was also on fire — he had 3 points (2G and 1A) against Montreal tonight. Brock has had a great start to this season so no shock he got two goals again tonight.

Elias Pettersson is still looking for his first of the season but he’ll get there every soon. He had some great chances tonight but it just seems like he’s not clicking yet. It’s still a new season so within the next few days I reckon he’ll score.

The Canucks were buzzin tonight but they’ll need to keep this up. A single win then three game losing streak is a tough way to start the season. They’ll play Montreal again tomorrow (the 21st) and they really need to win this one to get themselves in a good spot.
