This season is going to be a dumpster fire for the Blackhawks, there’s no doubt about it. BUT, as I said, I will take every win I can get and the Hawks getting Dylan Strome extended for the season is a win.
Dylan will make $6,000,000 over the next 2 seasons, here’s the further breakdown:
Strome played in 58 games last season with 38 points (12G 26A) and he had 3 points (2G 1A) in the 9 playoff games the Hawks had. It was a slower year then his start in Chicago. This season will be rough with so many players injured but I have full belief that he will be flying around the ice and lighting it up. He’ll be someone for the Hawks to rely on to win. He’s stepped up big time before and he can do it again. Will the season still be a dumpster fire? Sure, but I feel a little less broken about it with Strome there.
