Nolan Patrick right now:
The Flyers start camp Monday, January 4th and they just dropped their roster earlier today. We have the usual suspects: Kevin Hayes, Travis Konecny, Claude Giroux, Oskar Lindblom, Carter Hart. Some new names like Erik Gustafsson.
BUT the one I am obviously excited for most is Nolan Patrick.
It’s been some time since we’ve seen Nolan Patrick in a Flyers’ sweater but fear not, the 22 year-old centre is listed on Philly’s Training Camp Roster. He just signed his qualifying offer back in October and he’s been seen playing some games recently. If he can work through training camp and be healthy after, this season is about to be so fucking lit.
Patrick is an absolute unit and I can’t wait to watch him light it up on the ice again. He’s gonna be layin’ hits, droppin’ chirps, sassing reporters, it’s gonna be fantastic. I serenaded more about my love for his play in this blog. If the Flyers can have him back and healthy this season, they’ll be serious contenders for the Cup. They’ve been close time and time again. Now that they’ve made some improvements and they have key pieces back in play, they’ll be deadly team to play and a delightful one to watch.
