We’ve been waiting (im)patiently but Jim Nill finally did the thing. Stars just announced that they got Roope Hintz inked to a 3 year, $9.45 million dollar contract. That comes out to a $3,150,000 AAV according to the Stars. I knew it would be shorter term with an AAV somewhere around here, so I’ll take my moment to gloat.
This was a very important signing for Dallas. Roope is a big part of the Finnish youth there that have been making a massive impact on the depth. Bringing him back will only bring good things. Congrats on getting that bank Roope, can’t wait to see you light up the league this season.
