You honestly hate to see it.
RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) just announced that all of their winter sports are cancelled for the 2020-21 season. It sucks that these kids miss out on a year, especially if they’re seniors. That also narrows the list of eligible teams for the NCAA Re-Starts coming up.
This includes basketball (men and women), ice hockey (men and women), swimming & diving (men and women), indoor track & field (men and women), and wrestling (men). If ya know me, ya know I’m hockey focused. RIT’s women’s hockey went 12-19-4 last season so I didn’t expect a lot coming out of them. The men’s team went 19-13-4. Overall, sucks to see them lose their season.
