Kurtis Gabriel has signed a one-year, $700,000 deal with the San Jose Sharks. Gabriel was signed with the Philadelphia Flyers last season but he was with their AHL team, the Phantoms, and played in 53 games with 9 points (5G 4A). The last time he played in the NHL was 2019. He played 22 games with the Devils that season and put up 4 points (2G 2A) with an average 7:22 per game.
Personally, I love Kurtis Gabriel. He’s a fantastic ally for the LGBT+ community and overall a great person so you love to see those people get a chance. I think Gabriel will do great in San Jose though, they could use some good guys like him.
