Denis Gurianov, Namesake of my First Unborn Child, Is Staying in Dallas

Preface: I am not having a child, I’ve just said numerous times that I am naming my first kid (barring I have any) after our Lord and Savior Denis.

The Dallas Stars have re-signed young hotshot Denis Gurianov and this is a cause for celebration. Guri is already beloved in Dallas after just 86 games, he’s had 33 points (21G 12A) in his short time and he’s just gonna get better and better from here.

Guri has signed for 2 more seasons with a $2.55 million AAV. The Stars have $4,107,969 in cap space to sign their last RFA and Denis’ fellow young gun, Roope Hintz. Hintz will probably get the same about for a bit more. I don’t think the Stars will spend all their remaining cap on Roope though. But, back to Denis, right call by Dallas, this kid is only gonna get better from here.
