The Colorado Avalanche have announced that their arena will no longer be known as the “Pepsi Center”, it will now go by “Ball Arena”. I don’t even need to even make a joke here, we’re all thinking it.
It’s like Ball State- doesn’t matter what you do, you’re still called Ball State. Yes, I bought a Ball State shirt and blacked out the “tate” part.
They had a golden opportunity to call it the Mason Jar or something like that and they completely botched it for Ball Arena. The Avs could win the Cup in the Ball, they could win 700 games there but I will never stop making jokes.
