We got a trade in the NWHL!
Earlier today, Kelly Babstock was traded to the Metropolitan Riveters in exchange for 2 draft picks, one in 2021 and the other in 2022. This is a BIG trade for the Riveters. Babstock is a powerhouse and I was so excited for her to be a part of the Six. I am also very happy at this moment that I never bought a Babstock Toronto jersey.
The Rivs had a -21 goal differential this past season so they could use a goal scorer like Babs. She’s a consistent player and she’s definetly gonna halp this Cup-hungry team go far.
