If it were not for Corey Crawford being elite today, I would have completely lost my mind. Today’s game was do or die for the Hawks. Lose and we all go home but with the win, we’ve still got a chance at the Cup here.
This win did not happen without Crow in net. Crawford saw 49 shots on net and only 1 got past him. He was an absolute brick wall. The Blackhawks saw goals from Drake Caggiula, Matthew Highmore, and Alex DeBrincat (his 1st Playoff goal).
The Hawks are playing with something to prove and the odds against them. I’d tell you to not corner a Chicago team, we’ve played from behind and come back to win it all before. The next game is Tuesday so let’s let the boys rest and come back heavy. Cue Chelsea.
