Edmonton As A Hub City Is Not Off To A Hot Start

Hahahahahaha..ha..

So Edmonton has been getting heavy rain the past few days and the Rogers Place, ie one of two hub city arenas, was flooded tonight. Not completely, according to their press release. The video above is from Ford Hall.

Did we seriously think this was going to go well at all? I think we’ve pissed off the hockey Gods. Either way, things seem to be going on as planned if there is not extreme damage to other parts of the building. It’s lucky that this didn’t happen while there was a game going on there.

Repairs are going to have to be made which brings more people into the NHL’s bubble. Regardless of what happens next, this is definitely a wrench in the monkey plans here.
