It has been 120 days since we last saw a live NHL game.
That time, my friends, is coming to an end.
Starting August 1st we will officially have live hockey back on out TV. And not just a game or two — 5 hockey games a day, at least on the 1st and 2nd but from the 3rd-9th, we could have 6 games a day!
6 GAMES! Now after the first round of games ends, August 10th will be the 2nd Phase of the NHL Draft Lottery so we’ll know who gets the first elusive pick. Then the next day, we’re back on the horse with more hockey. Here is a deeper list of the upcoming dates that you might want to know.
Hockey is back and this is great. Of course, there is still a pandemic and we’re all concerned. I feel like I need to reiterate that every blog because as happy and excited as I am, I’m scared shitless of this all going wrong and people getting hurt. For now, I’m going to live on the high that for the first time since March, I have something to look forward to.
