Oskar Lindblom Has Completed Cancer Treatment

In these dark times, we need a boost and this news is MASSIVE. 

Oskar Lindblom, who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer last year, has finished his chemo treatment! Just today, the Philadelphia Flyers posted this video of Lindblom ringing the bell, signaling that he has finished his radiation treatment! Lindblom is just 23 years old and played 30 games this season with 18 points (11G 7A) before his diagnosis on December 13th. He did skate with his teammates last week but has no set return date in mind. Oskar told NHL . com:

“We’ll see (what’s next). I’m going to try to get back from the chemo and take it from there. Haven’t planned anything yet, just trying to get back in shape and we’ll see how far it goes.” (x)

There may be no return in this season but it’s okay. The kid just beat cancer so he deserves his time to recover. Congratulations, Oskar!
