We have 6 more players joining the PWHPA this season. I told you about 6 players last week and then 4 more the other day, so that brings the total amount of players to 16 at the moment.
Kristen Campbell – 22, goalie
Kristen Campbell is coming to the PWHPA from the University of Wisconsin. In her last season at Wisconsin, Campbell posted a 1.82 GAA and .912 Save percentage with 31 games played.
Rebecca Johnston – 30, forward
Another returning player for the PWHPA, Rebecca Johnson did well in her first run with the organization. Johnson was playing in the CWHL before it folded and in her final season, she put up 39 points (15G 24A) in 27 games.
Catherine Daoust – 25, defenseman
Catherine Daoust is another returning player for the PWHPA. Before playing with the PWHPA, Daoust was apart of the CWHL as well and played 27 games in her last season with 5 points (2G 3A).
Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson – 30, forward (centre)
One-half of the Lamoureux twins returns for her second season with the PWHPA. Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson has played for the US national team since she graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2013 before joining the PWHPA last season.
Jincy Dunne – 23, defenseman
Jincy Dunne is joining the PWHPA following her final season with Ohio State. Dunne played 38 games last season with 31 points (7G 24A) and was awarded the Big Ten Medal of Honor.
Lauren Williams – 23, defenseman
Now, the latest of the PWHPA returning players, Lauren Williams. Williams was apart of the PWHPA last season but played in the CWHL before it’s collapse. In her last season with the CWHL, Williams had 2 points in 24 games.
