With pandemic restrictions slowly being lifted in China, construction is beginning on a soccer stadium that will seat 100,000 spectators and takes the shape of a lotus flower. The stadium is absolutely beautiful. It’s said to be completed by the end of 2022 and cost $1.7 billion.
The whole building is outstanding really but all I could think about is how terrible the parking is going to be. Surrounding the whole place is a plaza so parking is going to be a ways away. Plus you gotta sprint across said plaza to even get in and then up so many flights of stairs to get to your seats.
Can you imagine being in the nose bleeds?
It’s still an awesome concept and will look great but driving to this game would be a nightmare. Add on the traffic of 100,000+ people leaving and it’s game over. I’ll quit being a pessimist so check out the inside:

It almost looks like Quidditch should be played in there but nope, this will be a very real place, just with bad parking. That’s all I’m saying.
