Marco Scandella just resigned with the St. Louis Blues for four more seasons.
Scandella has played in 580 NHL games in 10 seasons with 42 goals and 95 assists for 137 points. Scandella started the season with the Buffalo Sabres, played 31 games, then was traded to the Montreal Canadiens, played 20 games there, and finally, he ended in St. Louis for the 11 games before the quarantine.
Scandella’s got an AAV of $3.275 million a year according to the Blues and this saves him the process of free agency.
Because he resigned with the team, the Habs trade with the Blues for him upgrades the picks involved in said trade.
