Tyler Toffoli Is Headed To Vancouver

It’s Trade Season Babbbbyyyy! The Vancouver Canucks have made a BIG trade with the LA Kings.

The Vancouver Canucks will be getting Tyler Toffoli in exchange for:

  • Tim Schaller – Forward
  • Tyler Madden – Forward
  • 2020 2nd round pick
  • 2022 conditional 4th round pick
    • Toffoli must resign with Vancouver

The Canucks placed Josh Leivo along with Brock Boeser who will be out for at least three weeks and Micheal Ferland will be out for the rest of the season.

The Canucks are 3rd in the Pacific with a 32-22-5 record and 59 games played in total. They are fighting to make a deep playoff run and adding Toffoli, an 8-year veteran that has 34 points (18G 16A) in 58 games this year. Now is their time plus there is a bit of space for them to adjust to having Toffoli before the real playoffs begin.

As for the Kings, it’s quite obvious that they’re stacking up for a rebuild rather than a run. The Kings are currently in 9th of the Western Wild Card race.
