Stephen Johns Gets His First NHL Goal In Over 2 Years

An absolutely heartwarming story tonight.

Stephen Johns, who returned to the NHL 4 games ago after missing a season-and-a-half with post-traumatic headaches. Johns’ last NHL goal was February 16th, 2018.

After the game, Johns caught up with the media real quick to talk about the game and his goal. I highly recommend watching this because it is an emotional one.

I’m in tears over this interview.

This guy has gone through hell and back with his injury, he deserves all of the happiness in the world. Johns also mentioned that his parents were at the game and how he was excited to go and give them a big hug.

It’s something you love to see in the game. I’m a sucker for a comeback story.

Congrats on the comeback and first goal Stephen Johns! You deserve it!
