Dallas Stars’ 22-year-old speed demon Denis Gurianov is etching his name into a solid place on this contender team.
So far in 39 games, Denis Gurianov has 10 goals and 16 points while averaging 12:45 on the ice per game. This kid has 2 (possibly 3 if tonight’s counts) Game-Winning Goals. Guri has been the breakout player of this Stars’ season, much like Roope Hintz was last year.
As the Stars come closer and closer to the playoffs, this kid will be a key to their success, considering the fact he’s always coming in clutch when the Stars need it most. Gurianov has sick hands and incredible speed. Even when he misses, he’s still creating chances and taking every single inch he can get.
There is still a lot of hockey to be played but with a 6 game win streak, 2nd place in the Division, and Gurianov on the Stars’ side, things are looking bright. (If you little shits jinx me, I swear to God(s) I’m coming for your asses).
