The team has announced that both Alex Galchenyuk and Brian Dumoulin have been activated off the IR.
Dumoulin, 28-year-old defenseman, has played in 8 games so far this season with the Penguins and has 3 points. He was averaging 21:20 in ice time per game with 6 blocks and 16 hits.
Galchenyuk, a 25-year-old centre, has played in 3 games this season with 2 assists and an average of 16:43 on the ice per game.
The Penguins are 7-5-0 so far this season and need all the help they can get to keep things afloat.
