It’s like Brendan Gallagher knew I benched him tonight on my fantasy team so he decided to kick it into gear.
The Montreal Canadians beat the St. Louis Blues, 6-3 on Saturday night and the victory could not be taken without the effort of Brendan Gallagher.
In that game alone, Gallagher had 3 points (1 G 2 A) with 7 shots on goal and a +2 rating. In the first 4 games of the season, total, Gallagher had achieved 3 points (1 G 2 A) with a -1 rating and just 15 shots on goal. In one game, he was able to double his numbers.
A known pest, the Gallagher goal is very on par, click here to watch it.
Gallagher had 52 points (33 G 19 A) in 82 games last season alongside a +10 rating and averaging 16:24 on the ice. Montreal did not make it to the playoffs.
The Habs are currently 2-1-2 but the season is still young so nothing is set in stone.
