Crosby Drops the Mitts with Dubois

It’s a rarity to see Sidney Crosby drop the mitts but in Pittsburgh’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Crosby threw hands with Pierre-Luc Dubois, a 21-year-old left-winger for the Blue Jackets. The Captain doesn’t throw down the gauntlet often but when he does, it’s a sight to see.

Crosby threw the mitts with Pierre-Luc Dubois of the Blue Jackets. Right before that, Dubois laid out a hit on Jake Guentzel while Guentzel had his head buried and the one time Crosby fights will be to defend his teammates.

Sid finished the game with two assists, a +1 rating, and playing of 20:42 on the ice. In 2 games, Sid has 3 points on the season. Pierre-Luc Dubois went -1 this game and played 19:52 minutes. Both got 5 PIMs for Fighting.

The Penguins ended up winning 7-2.
