It’s official. Mitch Marner has signed with the Maple Leafs for 6 seasons.
Dreger reports that the AAV is at $10.893 million, less than what he turned down at 7 or 8 seasons. The Leafs are now spending $33.4 million on just 3 players: Mitch Marner, Auston Matthews, and John Tavares. Marner has the 3-rd highest AAV on his own team. The Leafs exceed the Upper Cap Limit by $13.4 million but here is what they can do to try and save money.
