Cole Caufield Puts On A Show WJ Summer Showcase

Cole Caufield is a player who has been severely underrated. Even after being drafted at a lower-than-projected 15th overall, it’s bullshit that people are still doubting his talent. People typically say the forward is “too small” but they seem to forget that what Caufield lacks in size, he makes up for in talent.

Caufield is an explosive player with a wicked shot and he displayed his skill at the World Juniors’ Summer Showcase. He finished the Showcase with 7 points in 5 games. Caufield had 4 goals, tying for the WJSS lead, and he had some highlight-reel worthy goals that are a must watch:

After this outing, there should be no doubt in anyone’s mind when it comes to Cole Caufield’s game. From here, he’s only going up.

Caufield will be playing in the NCAA this upcoming season for the University of Wisconsin, training up a bit more to reach the NHL level. But until then, he’s in a fantastic place and I’m excited to see him play alongside the young, talented lineup of the Montreal Canadians.
