The Devils have made another offseason move and picked up KHL Star Nikita Gusev from the Vegas Golden Knights. For Gusev, the Knights will be getting a 2020 3rd-round pick and a 2021 2nd-round pick.
Gusev has been playing the the KHL and lighting it up. This past season, he had 82 points (17 G 65 A) with a +39 rating in 62 games. He’s been playing in the KHL since 2012, totaling his career to 391 regular season games with a whopping 119 goals, 213 assists for 332 points. He’s won one Gagarin Cup and played 67 playoff games with 68 points (28 G 40 A).
After a summer of trade and a 1st Overall draft pick, the Devils are going to be comin in hot this season. Adding one more veteran to this fire roster may be exactly what the Devils need to complete their roster.
