Cubs Break 4 Game Losing Streak: Time To Turn Tide

The Cubs have been having a rough go. In the last 10 games the Cubs have been 4-6. They’ve been running into a stretch of dropped games and were on a 4 game losing streak entering today. But the team pulled out a big 11-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Kris Bryant opened the game early with a homer off the first pitch he saw.

The Cubs were up 4-3 in the 4th when Joe Madden began to argue with the Ump, as Joe usually does. Maddon was yelling about Jordan Lyles pitching, as he hit the knob of Javy’s bat. KB even tries to hold him back.

The Cubs are about to go on a stretch of games against the Chicago White Sox so it’s important that they get their shit together for the CrossTown Cup’s sake. They’re only 89 games in and 2nd in the NL Central. Now is not the time to shit all over them.

They have the talent to go through post season it’s just as if something isn’t clicking. But there is time. This team can still pull it together and get themselves to another World Series title.
