With an assist of a Jonathan Toews goal, Patrick Kane, of the Chicago Blackhawks, has hit 100 points for the second time of his career. The first time Kane hit 100 points was back in the 2015-2016 season where he finished with 106 points (46 goals, 60 assists). This season Kaner has tallied 41 goals and 59 assists in 71 games.
Last week we talked about Kane’s avid race for the Hart and this helps push him even further into contention. Kane is 3rd in points behind Connor McDavid (105) and Nikita Kucherov (117). The 30-year-old winger has a great push for the Hart considering the fact that he’s been helping carry his team through a rough season.
Kane has been a constant for the Blackhawks, he has only missed 1 game this season and he’s had points in almost every game. There is still a tossup if the Hawks are going to squeak into playoffs but even if they miss out, Kane has still been the MVP for this season.
