Ryan Dzingel Traded to Columbus

We said that Dzingel was on his way out of Ottawa and now he’s packing his bags. Following his teammate Matt Duchene, Ryan Dzingel has been traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Blue Jackets are giving the Senators Anthony Duclair and 2 second round picks in 2020 and 2021. The Senators are giving them Ryan Dzingel and a seventh-round 2019 pick in exchange.

This trade has been building for a while now and, as predicted, Dzingel is going to the Blue Jackets. There was no extension as part of the signing so Dzingel will probably be used as just a rental.
