Chicago Blackhawks Need To Look Alive Tonight

The Chicago Blackhawks are three points away from a playoff spot and they’re going to need to be alive tonight against the Ottawa Senators in order to get within 1. The Hawks flopped against the Columbus Blue Jackets and it was nerve-racking. The Hawks have been all over the standings this season and now they’re so close that they cal almost taste it.

The Hawks are also in luck that the Arizona Coyotes lost in regulation today, keeping them at 57 points and 1 spot above the Hawks in the standings.

The Senators are last in the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 22-31-5 and 49 points. The Senators have been having a rough season with the loss of their captain, Erik Karlsson and more players leaving soon with the deadline approaching and free agency this summer.

Patrick Kane is still riding a 17 game point streak and will likely put up big points for the Hawks tonight. Kane is miles above everyone in the points department as well. Kane has 87 points this season while Jonathan Toews, in 2nd, has 58. The team can’t just rely on Kaner to pull them into playoffs but he’s definitely set the tone for the room with the season he’s having.

Collin Delia is in net which is good for Cam Ward after his performance on Saturday.  Good news comes in the form of Corey Crawford. Crawford was practicing with the team today and he’s looking great. Crawford should be making his return real soon.

The Hawks have really been on a tear recently and they’re just going to have to remain consistent if they want to keep it going. Making it to playoffs is better than once again missing out and they can do this.
